Have You Considered Any Non-Traditional Occupations?

A non-traditional occupation is a career field in which 75% or more of the people who hold the occupation are from one particular gender.  An example of a non-traditional occupation would be a female working as an electrician or a male working as a nurse.  With employers facing workforce shortages, be sure to consider all career pathways!

Perhaps the best way for you to decide if a career field is right for you would be to gain some experience through carefully selecting your elective classes and getting involved in student organizations that interest you most.  Rest assured, the D.C. Everest School District does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, creed, pregnancy, marital status, parental status, sexual orientation, sex, (including transgender status, change of sex or gender identity), or physical, mental, emotional, or learning disability ("Protected Classes") in any of its student programs and activities.
