Carry the E means:

Pride in being an Evergreen — Competing with everything you have, and displaying HUMILITY in victory and CLASS in defeat — Playing for the name on the front of your jersey not the name on the back — Six characteristics - work ethic, responsibility, dedication, accountability, self-advocacy and respect.

Doing all the above 24/7 - as an athlete, as a student and as a member of the community.
