Beyond the Classroom

Participating in activities beyond the classroom are important throughout a student's time at D.C. Everest because they help students explore their interests, compete with their peers, hone their academic/career/life skills, serve their community, and develop leadership and collaborative skills.

For students in grades 9 - 12, these activities take on additional importance as they help you build a resume you can use when applying for a job, a scholarship, an award or entrance to military service, a college or university. Explore the opportunities available through DCE:

Build Your Future

The Portrait of the Graduate Dashboard helps students track their progress in meeting their academic, career and life skills goals before graduating. A great resource when creating resumes for jobs, scholarships, awards and college applications!

Career and Technical Education Student Organizations (CTSO's)

Note: ALL students are welcome to participate in CTSO’s and may participate in more than one CTSO. Ask a Family and Consumer Ed, Marketing, Business, Agriscience, or Tech Ed teacher or your school counselor about how you can get involved!
