The Jerry Awards recognizes and honors excellence in musical theater. 116 productions around the state were reviewed this year and over 450 students were eligible for individual awards. Jerry Awards have been awarded to DC Everest productions in the following areas. For A Christmas Carol the Musical, Julian Traska won an Outstanding Lead Performance Award for his portrayal of Scrooge and Terrek Schjoth won a Spirit Award. For the Musical All Shook Up, Jerry Awards have been awarded to: Amy Fronek and Amanda Burgess for Hair & Make Up and Costume Design, Kari Nuszkiewicz and Chris Barlow for Set Design, Lucas Gajewski, Shiloh Burgess and Ethan Reimann for Light Design, Casidy Rodriguez and Belen Braugner for Sound Design, Marshall DeLonay for Choreography, Cristie Bates for Music Direction, Wendy Vesper and Marshall DeLonay for Musical Direction. Shiloh Burgess as Chad- Outstanding Lead Performance , Terrek Schjoth as Dennis-Outstanding Lead Performance, Milana Bublik as Ms. Sandra- Outstanding Lead Performance, Rylan Douck-Spirit Award. All Shook UP is the Jerry Award recipient of Outstanding Ensemble and Outstanding Musical. The students from the production of All Shook Up, as well as the Outstanding Lead performers & Spirit Award recipients will perform at the Jerry Awards on June 8 at the Overture Center in Madison.
